• All researchers in NCBS/inStem/C-CAMP (BLiSC users) can work with hPSC at SCF.  To use the SCF, application forms have to be submitted via online portal to the Facility in Charge (FIC) and an orientation will have to be completed. Orientation happens on the second Thursday of the month.
  • External candidates submit the request via online portal and discuss with FIC.
  • After the orientation, users must pass the online and hands-on exam before getting access to the SCF.
  • If the users don’t appear for the exam without notice or cancels in less than 24 hrs of notice, one hours user-fee would be charged to the respective lab PI.
  • Users must submit the following approvals/clearances for the experiments/projects prior to initiating work at SCF:
    • Institutional Committee for Stem Cell Research and Therapy 
    • Institutional Biosafety / Bioethics Committee
    • Institutional Human Ethics Committee
