Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellow / Research associate to work on projects related to gene editing and gene therapy. The DBT-funded project is collaboration between Dr. Jayandharan Rao’s laboratory in IIT, Kanpur and Dr. Ramkumar Sambasivan’s laboratory at inStem, Bangalore. Note, majority of the work will be carried out at IIT, Kanpur, while the initial few months of the work will be at inStem, Bangalore. Therefore, the candidate should be prepared to stay in Bangalore for first 3 – 4 months and then move to Kanpur for the rest of the tenure.

Qualification: PhD in Life sciences or equivalent degree.

Experience in the area of virology / immunology / gene editing technologies is desirable.

Salary: 36000 – 40000 per month + 20% HRA
