Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (www.instem.res.in) is an Autonomous Institution under the aegis of Department of Biotechnology, Government of India invites applications for One post of Senior Accounts Officer.

Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine (inStem) along with National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) & Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) forms the Bangalore Bio-cluster. At an appropriate point, the incumbent may be entrusted the responsibility of overseeing the management functions of the cluster institutions.

Qualification & Experience criteria:

Essential:

1. Graduate/Post Graduate/CA/ICWA/SAS with experience in the accounting and finance area in a similar institution/large industry/institution or equivalent. Working knowledge of tally or similar packages, with experience of working in networked/computerized environment.

2. Must have worked in GP 5400 (Level-10) for 4 years or 8 years GP 4800 (Level-8) with experience of running/supervising various sections in accounts.

Desirable:

1. Graduate with CA/ICWA/SAS and having experience in handling Budget & Finance, payments and accounting, Auditing of grants in aid and EMG in an educational/research organizations of repute.

AGE LIMIT: Below 40 years for Direct recruitment and 56 Years for Deputation

Scale of Pay: PB-3 (Rs. 15600-39100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 (Level 11 of 7^th CPC)

NATURE OF APPOINTMENT: Direct Recruitment with probation for 1 year/Deputation failing which by promotion.

The selected candidate would be assigned the responsibilities of Head (Accounts) of the Institute.

Demand Draft: DD should be drawn in any nationalized Bank in favour of Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine payable at Bangalore and to be sent along with your application.
