“My name is Prachiti, and I'm currently in my fifth year of undergraduate studies, pursuing a BS-MS Dual degree at IISER Berhampur. I'm excited to share with you my journey and experiences as I delve into the fascinating world of genome editing technique-CRISPR/Cas9, for the purpose of fluorescently labelling endogenous proteins. This cutting-edge research forms a crucial part of my master's dissertation project, and I can't wait to tell you more about it. Alongside this, I am also interested in looking into the phase-separation phenomenon and splicing mechanism intricacies. 

While I may be immersed in the world of science and research, there's much more to me than just academics, which definitely includes artsy stuff and thriller-fiction novels. We are fortunate to have a swimming pool that provides a refreshing escape from the rigours of academic life.”
