Research Interest
I am a post-doctoral fellow at Dr. Diya Binoy Joseph's Lab, InStem. My current research focuses on macrophages' role in lower urinary tract development/homeostasis and antibiotic treatment for microbiota depletion using mouse models. In my master’s dissertation at the National Dairy Research Institute-Karnal, I worked on a murine model to evaluate the safety/effects of probiotic supplementation on gut health, immunological biomarkers, and blood biochemistry. During PhD, I characterized probiotic cultures and developed micronutrient-enriched functional food. My areas of interest are immunology and urinary tract infections, microbiology/probiotics, nutritional biochemistry, and gut health/epithelial barrier integrity.
