Research Interest
My research focus is on developing chemical fluorescent probes, which are bright and photostable, to visualize spatio-temporal dynamics of Mitochondrial pH, ROS, local-ordering, potential etc. These chemically synthesized fluorescent dyes can be used in advanced microscopy techniques for live cell imaging with minimal perturbation to cellular homeostasis.
