My projects aim to understand raft signaling based on:

• Formation mechanism of signaling raft: Rafts are very tiny (< 5 nm) and unstable at the steady state, but after ligation the receptors form clusters that recruit other unstable/tiny rafts to form signaling rafts (platform for signaling).
• Quantized signaling system: Bulk signals in whole cells are generated by superposition of short-term activation of signaling molecules, namely the pulse like digital signaling.
• To understand raft signaling in the context of : a) Interactions among many signaling molecules bound to actin filaments and rafts b) Protein-protein interactions and lipid involved interactions.
