This 2-day meeting aims to bring together researchers from across India, who are interested in the design and development of probes and sensors that will provide insights into biological processes. This meeting will have participation from biologists from a variety of areas, articulating problems where probe development would be game changing to their research questions. Additionally, we will bring in chemists who use very different strategies to design probes and hence can apply their expertise to new problems in biology. This discussion meeting will therefore define an interface where Chemistry and Biology can meet, and foster new ideas and collaborations.
