DBT-inStem is organising a workshop on human pluripotent stem cell research in coordination with the International Stem Cell Banking Initiative (ISCBI, www.iscbi.org). This 2-part workshop will focus on providing students the basic understanding of how to establish themselves in stem cell research, and aid established scientists already working with pluripotent stem cells in enhancing the quality and reproducibility of their work. The workshop also focuses on all the ethical guidelines to be followed in stem cell research with insights into the mechanisms behind establishing a stem cell repository. The workshop is open to applications from scientists in different stages of their careers wishing to obtain skills and knowledge in this area. The applicants will be selected through selection of the online applications.

The first part of the workshop, conducted on 22nd and 23rd May, 2023 is open for registration. Online attendance will give access to recordings and course manual/materials. Owing to limited number of places for in-person attendance, these applicants will be selected based on their statement of purpose. Registration and participation in part I of the workshop is a pre-requisite to be considered for the part II that will happen in July 2023.
