The Stem Cell Facility at inStem drives cutting-edge research by providing essential resources, training and expertise in stem cell biology, fostering advancements in biomedical science and its applications. We facilitate research in developmental biology, disease modelling and drug discovery.
The Facility will offer specialized services in stem cell biology such as genome editing, reporter cell line generation and candidate gene/molecule screening using stem cell based models. It is actively involved in institutional programs such as the WoRtH program, which advances research on early development from stem cells, and the ESCORT project, which focuses on stem cell derivation, organoids and automated screening platforms.
Additionally, the inStem Human Stem Cell Biobank (iHSCB) will provide well-characterized collection of Indian origin quality-controlled iPSC lines.
