An in vivo large- scale small molecules screening using Drosophila model
We have generated multiple lines of transgenic Drosophila model with cardiomyopathy genes respectively, which specifically display myopathy. In this objective, we are using these flies as a whole animal model to screen 2000 FDA approved compounds. In addition, we are exploring the molecular mechanisms of potential candidate drugs that rescue cardiomyopathy.
