i-DHANS is a first-of-its-kindinformation database for healthy aging Indian gene sequences
It provides vital infomation on the Indian aging alleles that help to distinguish disease-associated mutations
A total of 1500 control participants were analyzed and 94 healthy aging individuals were selected with the mean age of 80 years without any medications. These subjects were tested clinically negative for the following: (a) Infection (b) Cardiovascular disease (c) Hypertension (d) Diabetes mellitus (e) Cancer (f) Brain-related disorders
All the participants were analyzed using whole exome sequencing and the data were filtered and compiled
